About Resolve Counseling Group
Our Practice is Growing!
Missy Loftis, LMFT, first opened her private practice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in January of 2015. Through her internship experience in graduate school she became passionate about helping women break free from domestic violence and abusive relationships.
This led to Missy’s interest in learning all she could about trauma, the impact of trauma on the brain, and how to resolve past traumatic events so that people could engage in their present lives and be free from the past.
Missy and her husband, Michael Loftis, LCSW, want to offer their growing community excellent mental health services. This has led Missy to starting a group practice, Resolve Counseling Group. Her office remains in the same location. Her husband continues to serve military veterans, individuals, and couples in his private practice. His website and practice are located at michaelloftislcsw.com
Missy has lived in Murfreesboro for over 25 years and has trusting relationships with several referring physicians and people in the community.

Our Approach To Therapy
Our approaches are rooted in evidence-based scientific theories and interventions, and we continue to learn, grow, and expand our knowledge through continuing education training.
We want you to feel seen, heard, and understood and we strive to provide a comfortable space for you.
Your needs matter and we see the courage it takes for you to reach out. We want you to reach your goals and graduate from therapy!
Together we sort through the difficulties in your life and identify goals and your therapist develops a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.
Our goal is to honor and understand various perspectives, including but not limited to ethnicity, race, nationality, spiritual and religious ideologies, sexuality, gender, abilities, appearance, and size. We aim to foster an environment of belonging and safety.
