Why am I Feeling This Way?

Your body is a constant reminder of the changes that have happened during the pregnancy. And if you have experienced infant or pregnancy loss this can be overwhelming as you cannot escape your own body.

You may find it difficult to process your loss since it is so different from anything you’ve experienced before.

You may feel more alone than ever and some people avoid bringing up your loss because they don’t want to upset you.

You and your partner may experience the loss in very different ways and if you are not sharing with one another you can feel so alone.

It can be confusing to have moments of joy with your baby and then find yourself in moments of overwhelming sadness. Your whole life has changed and you are just trying to reorient yourself and attune to your baby’s needs as well as your own.
